'N2 Creator' is a 10-Step Wizard (all steps are optional) that lets anyone quickly and easily create presentations using the advanced capabilities of Altiscape's N2 Player.

If you publish your presentation, you must purchase an N2 Publishing Code from Altiscape.com that will allow your presentation to run anywhere. What Can I Build with N2 Creator? Top
N2 Player is a highly flexible program that has lots of features and capabilities to integrate all your digital media content together. Each feature is optional in your presentation. Here's what makes N2 different:
  1. N2 Player is a true multimedia player. You can create playlists with over 25 file types including audio, video, slideshows, thumbnails, web pages, MS Office files, PDF's, image files, and any Flash or EXE file.
    1. Use 'TimeSync' to sync text and with hotlinks while your playlist plays.
    2. Ask questions like 'Test Drive This Vehicle Now?' to launch web pages at any time during your playlist.
    3. Turn the ticker on or off during any playlist item of your presentation.
    4. N2's 'Jumbo' text feature lets you display computers wherever you want so customers can read your playlist ticker text from several feet away.
  2. Create presentations in multiple languages. You can create a single presentation that runs in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, & Portugese!
  3. Create image slideshows that have captions and synchronized in ticker text with hotlinks to over 30 file types.

N2 Publishing Policy & Costs Top
To publish a presentation with N2, you must upload your presentation's configuration and purchase a valid N2 Publishing Code from Altiscape.com.
 
In addition, you agree that your presentation's content is either owned by you or that you have the right to copy and distribute it. Altiscape in no way condones the distribution of illegally pirated content. Our license agreement, which you must accept before using the software, indemnifies and hold's Altiscape harmless from any liability you create from building and publishing presentations with N2 Creator & N2 Player.
 
You can publish and distribute your presentation and the N2 runtime (N2Player.exe) in unlimited quantities on CD or DVD or an EXE for as little as $49. If you are doing a 'Broadcast Presentation' that updates content then click the Presentation Cost Calculator for an estimate.

N2 Downloading Policy Top
If you want your presentation to download new content to your user base, then you must pay $10 per 1,000 computer installations - that's 1 cent per install (US currency) in increments of 10,000.
 
If you exceed the number of installations you've paid for (say 20,001 installations), an email will be generated and sent to you automatically. The email will request that you pay for additional installations in increments of 10,000. If you do not pay the additional amount any future installations will not be able to receive your updates. Make sure that you purchase enough computer installations initially to handle your user base so this does not happen.
 
Each time a user installs your presentation on their hard drive to receive your content updates, N2 Setup program will post the user's email address at Altiscape's license website. You can view the list of email addresses at anyh time. If the user installs your presentation on two computers, it counts as two installations and their email will be posted twice on license site.
 
You can update your installed user base as much as like on N2 Creator's 'Broadcast Options'. It is very important that your website is ready with new content when the next presentation becomes available so that your user base gets updated information.
